From ilmenite, all raw materials and chemicals used in the production of Titanium Dioxide, are subjected to tests to ensure adherence to specifications. Strict quality control by monitoring the critical parameters at desired frequencies is maintained during all the stages of operation. Sampling is carried out conforming to internationally approved methods. At every stage of the production, samples are taken at specified frequencies and analyzed to ensure strict adherence to specification. Titanium
Dioxide is versatile pigment with varied applications in defferent industries.
Over the years, with extensive research, particularly in the optimisation of pigmentary properties of the product -titanium dioxide- the company's Research and Development Laboratories are devoted to finding newer and better methods of achieving the highest standards. the
technology we inherited from the British Titan Products and enriched by our
experimentation over the past 50 years has given in competence and confidence
to embark on new projects. A plant is under operation with facilities
to produce products developed in the Research Laboratory including Potassium
titanate, Sodium titanate and special grade Titanium Dioxide. Future
programmes include the production of other titanium based products.
Utilisation of valuable constituents in the effluent and recovery of
basic material for future development are also envisaged for R &
D programmes The product is especially tested for opacity, brightness, particle size distribution and dispersion aimed at customer requirement and adherence to ISI standards laid down by the Bureau of Indian Standards is ensured. |
